MVMaid.com (“the Platform”) is a lead-generation platform that connects property owners on Martha's Vineyard with independent cleaning professionals. We are not a cleaning company; we facilitate introductions between homeowners and vetted island-based cleaners. By accessing or using MVMaid.com, you agree to these Terms of Service.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and have the legal authority to enter into contracts to use this Platform. By submitting a request, you represent that you are authorized to request cleaning services for the specified property.

3. Your Use of the Platform

By using MVMaid.com, you agree to:

• Provide accurate and complete information in all forms and communications
• Not submit false, misleading, or fraudulent requests
• Not use the Platform for any unlawful purpose
• Not attempt to interfere with the Platform's operation or security
• Not scrape, harvest, or collect data from the Platform without authorization

4. Service Relationship

Any cleaning services arranged through MVMaid.com are provided by independent professionals, not by MVMaid.com. We do not employ, supervise, or control any cleaning service provider. All agreements regarding scope of work, pricing, scheduling, payment, and service quality are between you and the cleaning professional directly.

MVMaid.com does not guarantee the availability, quality, safety, or legality of any cleaning service, nor the qualifications or reliability of any cleaning professional listed on our Platform.

5. Intellectual Property

All content on MVMaid.com — including text, graphics, logos, page design, and software — is the property of MVMaid.com or its licensors and is protected by copyright and trademark laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from our content without express written permission.

6. Limitation of Liability

MVMaid.com is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, express or implied. To the maximum extent permitted by law, MVMaid.com shall not be liable for:

• Any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Platform
• Actions, omissions, or conduct of any cleaning professional
• Property damage, personal injury, or losses resulting from cleaning services
• Service interruptions, data loss, or technical issues

7. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless MVMaid.com, its owners, operators, and affiliates from any claims, liabilities, damages, or expenses (including attorney's fees) arising from your use of the Platform, your violation of these Terms, or any dispute between you and a cleaning professional.

8. Privacy

Your use of MVMaid.com is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which describes how we collect, use, and protect your information.

9. Modifications

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Changes take effect immediately upon posting. Continued use of MVMaid.com after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms. We encourage you to review these Terms periodically.

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Dukes County, Massachusetts.
